10% of my bonus for American Cancer Society

I made myself my first friend: ME! In less than one week I have created two new email addresses, two new home pages, signed up on Twitter, and signed up for three different ways to chat! Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks? and one that still has residual chemo brain at that!!!

What has motivated me to do this is that my employer (TeleDirect) is now allowing me to use my professional sales skills that I utilize at the worksite to now work at home. How cool is that?

When I returned from being out with the surgery (removed the tumor in my colon) and then chemo I found it has been very difficult for me to work for more than 4 hours taking calls. We are already struggling to recover from the loss in wages! Any new clients that are referred by me I get a bonus each month for one year.

I am killing two birds with one stone: I will donate 10% of my bonuses. More details and visuals will be posted so everyone can follow the monies donated and testimonies!!! I have a dream!

Email from My Doctor

Last week I was emailing to my Kaiser doctor, Dr. Ricki Winardi. We were talking about my last visit with my "cancer doctor" (Oncologist). He was remarking on my status and what the oncologist, Dr. Guy, had stated in my notes. Dr. Guy was basically declaring me cancer free, as far as he was concerned, at this time. YET, I have not finished my "milestone" tests: the bone scan, and the colonoscopy (yearly check up, first year). I have been a bit "down in the tooth" (where did THAT saying come from?) suffice it to say I have been feeling a wee bit sorry for myself. I emailed Dr. Ricki back and told him that I was not dancing, just yet, until I had taken and passed those two tests. I had an ipifany moment, and hurriedly emailed him back and declared that I was going to start dancing now, a dance of faith per say, as it was a wast of the time I have now not to just go ahead on and DANCE!
